Puyallup is situated 35 miles west of Mount
Rainier in the Puget Sound Region. Tacoma lies 10 miles west
of Puyallup and Seattle approximately 35 miles north of it. It
boasts numerous Schools, new housing residential areas and several
fairly new communities.
Puyallup is probably better known throughout Washington for its
famous Puyallup Fair event which takes place every fall and for
the annual Daffodil Parade which takes place in spring.
Visitors may choose to spend their time visiting the Meeker
Mansion (first mayor and founder of Puyallup)
where they may learn a bit more
about Puyallup history, a refreshing walk in Wildwood Park, a
bike ride beside Puyallup River, fishing in Bradley Lake Park
or simply having a wholesome meal in restaurants such as "Outback", "The
Keg", "Black Angus", "Mazatllan" etc…

Puyallup climate is generally mild throughout the year. Rain
is to be expected for the most part of fall and winter. Summer
is generally cool and winter is mild. Temperature averages are:

Puyallup provides a variety of religious groups and institutions.
In addition to numerous churches several Islamic centers such

are located close to Puyallup where devoted believers practice
their religion.
